The core of Regeneration Strategies materializes through a shared devotion to the earth. Las Mujeres del Desierto (Women of the Desert) is a multifaceted collective of artisans whose practice revives and elevates ancestral techniques of raw earth construction. Far from being a traditional execution team, they are co-creators of the shelters, bringing a deep, intuitive understanding of tactile geometry, vernacular engineering, and manual modeling.
Every shelter built in the Pampas is born from this dialogue between art and land. By treating the local soil as the primary building medium, the collective ensures that each structure becomes an organic extension of the landscape, meticulously tailored to the thermal and vital needs of native species.
This collaboration marks the continuation of a shared journey. Having previously worked together in the extreme conditions of the Andes Mountains, our joint practice returns to the plains to reaffirm a fundamental premise: that building with the earth under our feet is an act of environmental responsibility, but above all, a ritual that fosters a deep sense of community ownership and collective protection over the living work.
